Welcome to Slavis Therapy Works, LLC<\/em>, the Independent Psychotherapy Practice of<\/p>\n

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in individual private practice as a psychotherapist for over 14 years. As a whole, I bring 20+ years of clinical experience providing counseling and psychosocial supports to children, adolescents, and adults. \u00a0This experience includes counseling, school and medical social work, and crisis intervention.<\/p>\n

Slavis Therapy Works is named in honor of my grandfather who went into business as owner and operator of a machinist’s shop\u00a0(Slavis Cutter Works<\/em>).<\/p>\n

My mission is to\u00a0provide a multidisciplinary therapeutic support system for the Austin area’s Children & Adolescents<\/a>, Parents<\/a>, & Adults<\/a>. I work to\u00a0identify a person’s strengths both within their systems of support\u00a0and without, and work to bolster their coping mechanisms so that they feel more confident regulating themselves when they become emotionally triggered. \u00a0It is my intention to provide an upfront and comprehensive assessment in order to create a realistic plan to help you feel more empowered and supported. I feel it is important to create and maintain a trusting relationship in order to cultivate one\u2019s personal growth, mindful based\u00a0coping strategies, and the ability to adapt to the transitions of everyday life.<\/p>\n
